Homemade French Dressing image

Instead of turning to store-bought salad dressings that lack freshness and flavor, try this easy dressing. This simple homemade topping adds tangy flavor to an ordinary lettuce salad.-Mrs Robert Lieske, Ripon, Wisconsin

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cup canola oil
2/3 cup ketchup
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons salt
1 small onion, quartered

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender container. Cover and blend at medium-high until well mixed. Chill before serving. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.
