Time 2h

Number Of Ingredients 8

4-5 lb pork spareribs, 2 racks
2 Tbsp garlic powder
3/4 c honey
2 Tbsp cider vinegar
3/4 c soy sauce
3 clove garlic, crushed
1 bunch sliced green onion
1/2 tsp sesame seeds

Steps:

  • 1. Cut racks into individual ribs and season with garlic powder. Arrange in a foil lined and sprayed 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • 2. Cover with foil and bake at 350^ for 1 hour, or until very tender. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and simmer 5 minutes.
  • 3. Remove from oven and drain ribs well- careful, there will be lots of steam under the foil. Pour homey mixture over spareribs and make sure all ribs get coated.
  • 4. Bake, uncovered, at 350^ for another hour. Baste well about every 10 minutes. Remove from oven and garnish with the green onions and sesame seeds.

These ribs were a waste of time and money. They were tough and tasteless.

I followed the recipe exactly and the ribs turned out burnt. I'm not sure what went wrong.

I found the ribs to be a little dry. I think I would add more liquid to the glaze next time.

These ribs were a little too sweet for my taste, but they were still good.

I've tried many different recipes for spareribs, but this one is by far the best. The honey glaze is perfect and the ribs are always fall-off-the-bone tender.
