Hot Bean dip image

This recipe makes a lot, so It would be great for a party.

2 can(s) 15-16oz cans of mexican style refried beans
1 pkg 8 oz cream cheese
1 c sour cream
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
2 c cheddar cheese
2 c monterey jack cheese
1-2 pkg tortilla chips

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees... In a large mixing bowl add 2 cans of refried beans, 8 oz pkg of cream cheese, 1 cup of sour cream, mix well; then add taco seasoning; mix well.
  • 2. Spray a 9X13 pan with non stick spray and add beans and spread it evenly in pan. Then top with the 2cups cheddar cheese and 2 cups Monterey jack cheese.
  • 3. Bake uncovered on middle rack for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted. Dip your tortilla chips in annd enjoy!
  • 4. Tip: 5 minutes before dip is done I put my tortilla chips in a oven proof bowl and heat the chips for the remainder of 5 minutes. So you have warm chip to go with your awesome bean dip.
