I planted Roma green beans this year and wanted to cook them with an Italian flavor palette. I've tweaked a few other recipes and come up with this. You can also use frozen beans - just adjust the cooking time. Buon Appetitio!

Steps:
- 1. Cook beans in boiling water until just tender. Drain well.
- 2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil on medium high. Add the garlic, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. Stir for a few minutes until garlic is golden and fragrant.
- 3. Add green beans, stirring until covered with oil/seasoning and heated through. Salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with parmesan if desired.
