Number Of Ingredients 9

10 ounces store-bought sausage gravy, such as Chef Mate
2 ounces Italian Sausage, casings removed
One 3-ounce buttermilk biscuit
6 ounces Home-Style Potatoes, recipe follows
One 7-millimeter slice sharp Cheddar
1 egg
6 ounces potatoes, peeled and cut
1 tablespoon oil
2 ounces diced onion

Steps:

  • Heat the gravy up, about 4 minutes. Brown the Italian sausage in a skillet until cooked through.
  • Toast the biscuit and top with the Home-Style Potatoes and the cheese. Pour the gravy on top, and sprinkle sausage over the gravy. Cook the egg any style and put it on top.
  • First boil potatoes until they are soft, about 30 minutes. Drain water, then let cool completely.
  • Fry the potatoes in the oil in a pan until nice and golden. Add onion while they finish cooking.
