1 stalk lemongrass, trimmed, inner portion thinly sliced
1 cup rice vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons Thai fish sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
3/4 teaspoon crushed red-pepper flakes

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir until sugar dissolves.
