Linguine with Garlic, Herbs and Lemon image

A simple pasta dish made with fresh ingredients. Herbs that work well with this dish are basil, tarragon, marjoram, oregano, parsley, dill, thyme, chives, cilantro, chervil and mint. I like to go heavy on the basil(about a cup) and then combine one or two other herbs.

I wanted to make this dish vegan, so I used vegetable broth instead of chicken broth and omitted the Parmesan cheese. It turned out great!

I'm not a fan of lemon in savory dishes, so I omitted it from the recipe. The dish was still delicious.

The recipe was easy to follow, but the sauce turned out too oily for my liking.

This dish was a bit too bland for my taste. I think it could have used more garlic and herbs.

This linguine dish was a hit! The combination of garlic, herbs, and lemon created a light and flavorful sauce that perfectly complemented the al dente pasta. I added some grilled shrimp and it was a complete meal.
