Makeover Honey French Dressing image

This makeover recipe has half the fat, about 40% fewer calories and a third less sodium. But it will still dress up salads with gusto.-Taste of Home Test Kitchen, Greendale, Wisconsin

1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup apricot nectar
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup canola oil

Steps:

  • In a blender or food processor, combine the first nine ingredients; cover and process until blended. While processing, add oil in a steady stream. Process until thickened. Store in the refrigerator.
