Maple Butterscotch Brownies image

Brownies don't have to be made with chocolate in order to be delicious. These travel well in lunch boxes. I love the taste of these brownies. Perfect blend of maple and butterscotch. My hubby loves these and I make them often for him to bring some to work for the other guys.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my brownies turned out dry and crumbly. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what happened.

These brownies were a little too sweet for my taste. I would reduce the amount of sugar next time.

I'm not a huge fan of maple, but these brownies were still really good. The butterscotch flavor was strong enough to balance out the maple. I would definitely make these again.
