MAPLE GLAZED TURNIPS image

Number Of Ingredients 6

6-8 medium sized turnips
1/2 cup of maple syrup (per frying pan full)
1 tsp of sage (per frying pan full)
1 tsp of marjoram (per frying pan full)
1-2 tbsp of sesame seeds (per frying pan full)
1-2 tbsp butter (per frying pan full)

Steps:

  • Chop turnips into 1" squares approximately. Boil till almost done. (Do not over boil as they still have to fry.) Drain turnips. Melt butter in frying pan. Add turnips, maple syrup, sage, marjoram and sesame seeds. Fry until turnips are golden brown. Repeat until all the turnips have been fried. Serve hot.
