Marzipankugeln - German Marzipan Balls image

Marzipankugeln are an absolute necessity for me during the Christmas season. They are a very quick and simple homemade treat.

1 (6 ounce) package marzipan
rum (optional)
cocoa powder

Steps:

  • Take the marzipan paste (douse with a little rum if you wish) and form into small balls; roll in cocoa powder.
  • Done.
  • A very nice gift for nice neighbors, your friendly postman -- or for yourself.
