Mile High Lime Pie image

This recipe has all the richness of a traditional lime pie, but uses low-fat ingredients. Prep time listed does not include refrigeration time. The recipe was featured in an old Taste of Home magazine compliments of a reader from Missouri.

1 can(s) fat-free sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
1 c reduced-fat sour cream
1/3 c fresh lime juice
2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
5 drops green food coloring (optional)
1 8- oz. carton reduced-fat cool whip, thawed
1 8-inch reduced-fat graham cracker crust

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, combine the milk, sour, cream, lime juice (all) and food coloring, if desired. Fold in whipped topping.
  • 2. Pour mixture into the crust and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
