These are a holiday favorite of mine. My Mom would make these for Christmas parties. Now, I make these to put in goody tins.

6 1/2 oz can of cocktail peanuts
3 c cornflakes

Steps:

  • 1. Melt chips and peanut butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat. Add cornflakes and peanuts. Drop on wax paper and refrigerate.
  • 2. Note: You can substitute the nuts and cornflakes with 3 ounces of chow mein noodles and 1 cup marshmallows. This is the way I prepare it.

I'm not a huge fan of butterscotch, but these clusters are amazing! The chocolate and nuts balance out the butterscotch flavor perfectly.
