Oat-Rageous Chocolate Chip Cookies image

I don't remember where I got this recipe, but it has a little of everyone's favorite cookie in it.

1/2 c butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c creamy peanut butter
1/2 c sugar
1/3 c packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 c flour
1/2 c quick cooking oats
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 c chocolate chips

Steps:

  • 1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars; beat in egg and vanilla.
  • 2. Combine flour, oats, baking soda, and salt. Add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • 3. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
