OATMEAL CUSTARD image

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 3/4 cup water
1 cup uncooked rolled oats
1/2 cup egg substitue
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/3 cups skim milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
1/3 cup dried chopped fruit
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Veget cooking spray

Steps:

  • Boil water in covered suacepan. Add oats. Return to boil, reduce heat and continue to boil. Cook for 1 min uncovered, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Cover and set aside In large bowl, add egg substitute, sugar, milk, vanilla and salt. Add cooked oatmeal, dried fruit and cinnamon to egg mixture and mix well. Put in 8 inch square pan coated with baking spray, put in larger pan of hot water. Cook for 1 hr at 350 or until set
