OVEN CHICKEN FRICASSEE image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 chicken fryer, cut up
3 T butter
3 T flour
1 t each salt and poultry seasoning
1/2 t paprika
1 can cream of mushroom
1 6 oz can evaporated milk/ 2/3 cup
1/2 c water

Steps:

  • Place chicken skin side up in greased shallow baking dish Blend butter, flour, salt, poultry seasoning, paprika spread over top of chicken Bake uncovered in moderate oven(375degrees) for 20 minutes Mix soup, milk, and water Pour over chicken Bake 30 minutes more or until tender
