I have been making these baked beans since the 70's and have always gotten rave reviews. They are so easy to make. This recipe is big enough for a crowd but can be cut in half for a family dinner. They are good hot out of the oven or served cold. They are even better after sitting in the fridge for a few days. If you don't...

2 can(s) 15-oz kidney beans, drained
2 can(s) 15-oz butter beans, drained

These party beans are a little too sweet for my taste. I think I would have preferred them with less brown sugar.

These party beans are a great way to use up leftover ham. I always have some leftover ham after Easter and this is a great way to use it up.

I've tried many party bean recipes, but this one is by far the best. The beans are perfectly cooked and the sauce is flavorful without being too heavy. I highly recommend this recipe.
