Steps:
- combine all ingredients in a large bowl. beat until smooth, pour into greased 2 eight inch round cake pans bake at 350 degrees until a tooth pick emerges clean. approx. 35-45 minutes. cool and ice with icing recipe: 1 8 oz, package cream cheese softened to room tempature and add to 1/2 cup butter cream togehter in bowl add sugar vanilla . beat well until smooth . Ice cake and add almonds on top and sides of cake . Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
