This is the my family's French Canadian version of Shepherds pie, which we call Pate Chinois. It's easy to make, cheap and very delicious. Serve with a nice loaf of crusty bread.

I'm a big fan of shepherd's pie, but I've never tried it with a pastry crust before. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out. The crust was flaky and golden brown, and the filling was rich and flavorful. I will definitely be making this

I made this dish for a potluck and it was a huge success! Everyone loved it. I especially liked the crispy pastry crust. I would definitely recommend this recipe to anyone who is looking for a delicious and easy-to-make casserole.

This shepherd's pie pate chinois was a bit too heavy for my taste. The mashed potatoes were very dense and the ground beef mixture was a bit greasy. I would recommend using a lighter type of potato, like Yukon Gold, and draining the ground beef more

I've made this dish several times and it's always a hit with my family and friends. It's a great comfort food that's perfect for a cold winter night. I usually serve it with a side of green beans or a salad.

This recipe was easy to follow and the dish turned out great! The only thing I would change is to use a different type of cheese for the mashed potatoes. I used cheddar cheese, but I think a sharper cheese, like Parmesan or Gruyère, would be better.

This recipe was a bit too time-consuming for me. I had to make the pastry crust from scratch, which took a while. The filling was also a bit bland. I would recommend adding more herbs and spices to the ground beef mixture.

I'm not a big fan of shepherd's pie, but I decided to try this recipe anyway. I was pleasantly surprised! The combination of ground beef, corn, and mashed potatoes was very tasty. The pastry crust was also very good. I would definitely make this agai

This dish was a bit too bland for my taste. I would recommend adding more herbs and spices to the ground beef mixture. The mashed potatoes were also a bit dry. Next time, I would add more milk or butter to make them creamier.

I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out perfectly. The only thing I would change is to add more salt and pepper to the ground beef mixture. Overall, this is a great recipe that is easy to follow and produces delicious results.
