¼ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste
5 carrots, chopped

1 onion, chopped
1 pound lean ground beef
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon ketchup
¾ cup beef broth
¼ cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

This was a great recipe! I used ground beef instead of lamb, and it turned out really well. The mashed potatoes were a bit too thick for my taste, but that's an easy fix. Overall, I'm very happy with this recipe.

I made this shepherd's pie for a potluck and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved it. I used ground turkey instead of lamb, and it turned out great. The mashed potatoes were a bit too runny for my taste, but that's an easy fix. Overall, I'm very happy w

I've made this shepherd's pie several times now, and it's always a hit. It's a great comfort food for a cold night. I usually make it with ground beef, but I've also tried it with lamb and it was just as good.

I made this shepherd's pie for my family and they loved it! The only change I made was to add some chopped carrots to the filling. It was a great way to use up leftover lamb and potatoes.
