Southern Fried Cabbage image

I can eat this entire dish myself!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 cabbage chopped
1/2 white onion chopped
5 slice bacon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 pinch sugar
1/2 tsp cider vinegar or balsalmic (i used cucumber balsamic)

Steps:

  • 1. Saute onion and bacon Cut bacon into small pieces set aside
  • 2. Add bacon grease or 1 tbs of olive oil or veg oil to pan then add cabbage. Add salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar, bacon and onion. Cook on med low 10 minutes. Stir occasionaly. Serve immediately.
