Time 30m

Yield 2

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 ½ pounds chicken wings and drummettes
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
1 ½ teaspoons onion powder
1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
1 ½ teaspoons ground black pepper
1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste

Steps:

  • Rinse chicken and pat dry. Place in a large bowl, drizzle with oil, and toss to coat.
  • Combine paprika, chili powder, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne in a small bowl. Sprinkle over chicken and toss until evenly covered.
  • Preheat an air fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Arrange chicken in the basket of the preheated air fryer in a single layer, not touching. Cook until no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, about 12 minutes, turning halfway through. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). For crispier wings, increase temperature to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and cook for 2 to 3 minutes more.
  • Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

These wings are so easy to make. I just threw them in the air fryer and forgot about them until they were done.

I'm not a big fan of spicy food, but these wings were still really good. The spice level was just right.

I was skeptical about making wings in an air fryer, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were just as good as deep-fried wings, but without all the grease.

I love that this recipe uses an air fryer instead of a deep fryer. It's so much healthier and easier to clean up.

These wings were a hit at my party! They were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with the perfect amount of spice. I'll definitely be making them again.
