1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups flour

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Beat in egg and vanilla.
  • Add flour one cup at a time.
  • The dough will be stiff.
  • Make 1 1/2" balls.
  • Flatten with a cookie stamp.
  • Bake for 12-15 minute.
