I'm not a big fan of apples, but I really enjoyed this apple slice. The sultanas added a sweetness that made the apples more palatable for me. I also liked the flaky pastry.

This apple slice is the perfect dessert for a fall gathering. It's warm and comforting, and the flavors of apples and sultanas are quintessentially autumnal. I highly recommend serving it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

I baked this apple slice for a little longer than the recipe called for, because I like my apples really soft. The extra baking time didn't dry out the pastry, so it was still nice and flaky.

I used a mix of green and red apples for this recipe, and the combination of colors looked beautiful. The red apples were a bit sweeter than the green apples, which added a nice contrast to the tartness of the sultanas.

I'm not a big fan of sultanas, so I substituted dried cranberries. The cranberries added a tartness that complemented the sweetness of the apples really well. I also added a sprinkle of cinnamon to the filling for extra flavor.
