Summertime Peach Cobbler image

This recipe was given to me many years ago by Mrs. Orin Stevens of Fargo, ND. She told me she'd gotten it from a church cookbook. I've used fresh, frozen and canned peaches with equal success.

The cobbler didn't come out very well. The peaches were mushy and the topping was too dry.

I thought the topping was a bit bland. I might try adding some chopped nuts or streusel next time.

The cobbler was a little too sweet for my taste, but overall it was still good.

This cobbler was easy to make and turned out beautifully. The peaches were still slightly firm, which I prefer. And the topping was the perfect balance of sweet and tart.

I've tried many peach cobbler recipes, but this one is definitely my favorite. The combination of fresh peaches, cinnamon, and nutmeg is just perfect.

This peach cobbler was a hit at our summer gathering! The peaches were perfectly sweet and juicy, and the topping was crispy and golden brown. Everyone went back for seconds!
