Sweet Pepper French Dressing is suggested by Elsie McHenry, Gridley, California, who used to prepare meals for 100 senior citizens at a time. "They all loved this tangy dressing," she says. "It perks up any lettuce salad."

I can't wait to try this out. It sounds like a great way to dress up some boring bell papers.

Great results. I'd recommend using more salt, though, if you like a salty dressing.

This is the second time I've made this dressing. It's incredibly simple but has a really nice flavor. I've tried it on bell papers and on a cucumber salad. Both times a big hit.
