My heritage is German and so a few times a year I hit Schiller's German deli and store in South Tampa. I come away with way too many candies and cookies, but also Westphalian Ham and knockwursts! Number Of Ingredients 7

1 medium red cabbage, shredded or chopped roughly
6 cloves, whole
1 1/2 c water
4 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 medium apples, sweet, peeled and cored, sliced or chopped
salt and pepper to taste
2 1/2 Tbsp light brown sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all ingredients in Instant pot.
  • 2. Set to 25 minutes on manual.
  • 3. Enjoy with knockwurst, bratwurst, schnitzel or whatever you like!
