Thingies (Layered Dessert Bars) image

These are just perfect for that sweet tooth craving! They seem too simple but really are good. It is my Grandmother-in-law's recipe and she gave it to me.

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips
2 cups sweetened coconut
1 cup pecans, chopped
12 ounces sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Melt butter and add to a 9x13 pan.
  • Add chocolate chips.
  • Add butterscotch chips.
  • Add coconut.
  • Add chopped pecans.
  • Pour sweetened condensed milk over top.
  • Gently shake pan.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
