TILAPIA WITH CAPERS AND LEMON/WINE SAUCE image

Number Of Ingredients 7

one pound of tiplapia fillets cut in half lengthwise
1/2 cup flour for coating seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder and dill weed
3 TBSP. butter
juice of one lemon
3/4 cup of white wine
1 tsp dill weed
1 TBSP. capers

Steps:

  • Season flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder and dill weed Dredge tilapia fillets in flour and place on wax paper to set Melt 3 TBSP butter in fry pan Saute tilapia fillets 5 minutes per side Remove from pan and place in baking pan Add lemon juice, 3/4 cup of white winte, dill weed, and capers to fry pan Return tilapia fillets to pan and spoon lemon/wine sauce over fillets Simmer for 4 minutes Return to baking pan and serve
