Steps:
- Bring a pasta pot of salted water to a boil.
- In a large skillet add the bacon and cook over medium heat until cooked. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Add the onion and salt and cook over medium heat until tender (translucent).
- Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the turkey and cook thoroughly, add the bacon back to mix.
- Add the whiskey and cook for 30 seconds, then add the chicken stock. Cook over medium/High heat until reduced by 1/2.
- Add the heavy cream and reduce to sauce consistency. Season for taste.
- Add the sauce to cooked and drained egg noodles. Mix well and add to an oiled casserole dish.
- Top with the cheese and breadcrumbs and Broil until the top of the casserole is golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
