Turkey Mango Salad image

This is a very colorful and tasty salad and everyone enjoys it especially during the summer,,,why I do not Know..will try and find out.

Number Of Ingredients 14

8 oz lean ground turkey
1 tsp sesame oil
4 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp grated ginger
1 Tbsp fish sauce
2 mangoes peeled and chopped
1 small red pepper cut in strips
1 small green pepper cut in strips
2 Tbsp chopped cilantro or basil
2 Tbsp chopped mint
4 Tbsp fresh lime juice
2 Tbsp sugar
dash of hot sauce, optional
2 c snap or snow peas cut in half

Steps:

  • 1. In large non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and cook turkey, garlic, ginger, fish sauce, stirring often for about 5 to 8 minutes or until turkey no longer pink. remove from heat.
  • 2. In large bowl whisk juice and sugar and all remaining ingredients and toss together. serve with fried rice.
