The vanilla slice was delicious, but it was a bit too rich for me. I would recommend serving it with fresh fruit or whipped cream.

The vanilla slice was easy to make and turned out great! I used a store-bought puff pastry, which made it even easier.

The pastry was a bit dry, but the custard was delicious. I would try this recipe again, but I would make sure to roll out the pastry more thinly.
