Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies image

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 c butter
1 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt, optional
3 c oats, quick or old-fashioned, uncooked
1 c raisins

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
  • 3. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
  • 4. Stir in raisins and oats and drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheet.
  • 5. Bake for ten minutes, until lightly browned.
