Steps:
- 1. Beat together butter and sugar. Every time the recipe says to beat, REALLY beat!
- 2. Sift together flour, soda, and salt; and add to the butter mixture.
- 3. Add vinegar and vanilla. Beat!
- 4. Add chopped pecans.
- 5. Drop by teaspoons on buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.
