This sponge pudding is a great way to use up leftover bread. I used a mix of white and wheat bread, and it turned out great.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my sponge pudding didn't rise. It was still tasty, but it was more like a dense cake than a light and fluffy sponge.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my sponge pudding didn't turn out right. The sponge was dense and dry, and the custard sauce was too runny.

This sponge pudding was a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was still good. I think I would reduce the amount of sugar next time.

I'm not a big fan of sponge pudding, but this recipe changed my mind. It was so good! The sponge was moist and flavorful, and the custard sauce was the perfect complement.

This pudding was easy to make and so delicious! The sponge was light and airy, and the custard sauce was rich and creamy. I will definitely be making this again.
