ANGIE'S WHITE WINE COOKIES image

Number Of Ingredients 7

7 cups flour
1 Tbs. baking powder
2 Tbs. anise seeds
2 cups white wine
2 cups vegetable oil
3 cup sugar (1 reserved for later)
2 Tsp. cinnamon

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl mix the flour, baking powder and sugar, make a "well in the center" and pour the wine and oil in. Mix well. Roll pieces of the dough together to make a long 4 inch piece, about the size of your finger. Then turn it to look like a donut. Mix the last cup of sugar and cinnamon and place on a dish. Dip one side of the cookie into it, then place on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degree's for 15 minutes until done. Check often. Preparation time: 45 minutes
