Steps:
- Spread pie filling on bottom of 13X9 pan. Combine flour, sugar, soda & salt. Sprinkle over pie filling. In mixing bowl combine eggs, vanilla, oil & 1/2C nuts mix well. Pour over ingredients in pan. Fold until well blended, smooth batter evenly in pan. Bake @ 350o for 40-50 min. Prick warm cake w/fork. Pour hot topping over cake sprinkle 1/4 cup nuts. Serve warm or cold.
