Steps:
- 1. Sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped pecans in unbaked pie shell
- 2. Combine apples,sugar,cinnamon,and nutmeg. Turn into pie shell on top of pecans.
- 3. Mix first 3 topping ingredience using pastry blender or fork. Add pecans, spread on top of apples.
- 4. Bake in hot oven [425 degrees] 40to45 minutes or until apples are tender and pie top is a rich brown.
