Number Of Ingredients 10

4 Tbsp butter, unsalted
4 eggs
1 c milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 c all-purpose flour
4 Tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground
4 medium apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1/2 c raisins
1/2 c walnuts, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Melt the butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish in the oven as it's preheating; swirl butter around to coat dish completely.
  • 2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and flour. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the melted butter.
  • 3. Combine apples, raisins, and walnuts. Lay the apple slices down over the butter.
  • 4. Pour the flour mixture over the apple slices and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until cooked through. Serve with maple syrup if desired.
