This is a recipe of a wife of a coworker. She made them for Christmas and they are wonderful. The crust is almost like a shortbread cookie and the filling creamy cheese. Easy to make and very elegant looking.

I don't have time to make this torte from scratch. I'll just buy one from the bakery.

This recipe seems a bit too complicated for me. I think I'll stick to my tried-and-true apple pie recipe.

I'm not sure how I feel about the combination of apples and cinnamon. But I'm willing to give it a shot.

This apple torte was a hit with my family! The crust was flaky and buttery, and the apples were perfectly tender and sweet. I loved the addition of the cinnamon and nutmeg, which gave the torte a warm, cozy flavor.
