I'm not a huge fan of applesauce, but these puffs were surprisingly good. The applesauce filling was not too sweet and the pastry was flaky and buttery.

I've tried many applesauce puff recipes, but this one is by far the best. The puffs were perfectly golden brown and the applesauce filling was tart and sweet.
