- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Put butter and sugar into a small bowl. Beat with a wooden spoon until pale and fluffy.
- Place apples in a 9-by-13-inch glass baking dish. Place a teaspoon of butter mixture and a cinnamon stick in center of each apple. Bake until apples begin to soften, 20 to 25 minutes. Serve warm with a drizzle of cream.
