Baked Beef Tacos image

This taco recipe takes classic taco ingredients and gives them a fresh approach by baking the shells upright in refried beans and tomatoes. The bottom gets soft, and the top stays crisp and crunchy. -Patricia Stagich, Elizabeth, New Jersey

I'm not a huge fan of beef tacos, but these were surprisingly good. The avocado crema really made the dish.

The tacos were delicious, but I found the beef to be a bit dry. Next time, I'll try cooking it for a shorter amount of time.

These tacos were a hit with my family! The beef was tender and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and crisp. I especially liked the avocado crema, which added a creamy and tangy flavor to the tacos.
