Banana Bread Cobbler image

I got this recipe from a friend and it is amazing. All the banana bread goodness without the bread.

STREUSSEL TOPPING:
3/4 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c flour, self rising
1/2 c butter, softened
1 c uncooked regular oats
1/2 c chopped pecans
FILLING:
1 c flour, self rising
1 c sugar
1 c milk
1/2 c melted butter
4 medium bananas, sliced

Steps:

  • 1. For streusel topping: Stir together brown sugar, flour, and butter until crumbly. Stir in oats and pecans. Set aside.
  • 2. For filling: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease an 11 by 7 inch dish. Whisk flour, sugar, and milk just until blended. Whisk in melted butter. Pour into prepared pan. Top with banana slices and streusel topping. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
