Beer-Brined Buffalo Wings image

Brining brings out the succulence of poultry, and this quick-brine of salt, beer and brown sugar will intensify the taste of these spicy wings. To make them truly authentic, serve with ranch dressing and crisp celery stalks.

I'm not a big fan of blue cheese dressing, so I served the wings with ranch dressing instead. They were still delicious!

I didn't have any beer on hand, so I used chicken broth for the brine. The wings still turned out great, but I think they would have been even better with beer.

These wings were a bit too spicy for my taste, but my husband loved them. I think next time I'll use less cayenne pepper.
