½ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder or granules
¼ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • If using frozen fish fillets, defrost them. Drizzle with olive oil, and make sure that the fish is well coated with oil.

1 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons california garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 sprays butter-flavored cooking spray

Steps:

  • Put fish fillets and buttermilk in a resealable plastic bag, let soak for 30 minutes.

¾ cup malt beer
4 (3 ounce) fillets cod fillets
