Tips:

  • Choose the right cookie dough. Not all cookie doughs are created equal. Some are more suited for air frying than others. Look for a dough that is thick and dense, such as a chocolate chip cookie dough. Avoid doughs that are too thin or delicate, as they may not hold up well in the air fryer.
  • Preheat your air fryer. This will help to ensure that your cookies cook evenly. Preheat your air fryer to the temperature specified in your recipe for 3-5 minutes before adding the cookie dough.
  • Use a silicone baking mat. This will help to prevent the cookies from sticking to the air fryer basket. If you don't have a silicone baking mat, you can grease the basket with cooking spray.
  • Cook the cookies in batches. Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket, or the cookies will not cook evenly. Cook the cookies in batches, if necessary.
  • Keep an eye on the cookies. Air fryers can cook cookies quickly, so it's important to keep an eye on them to prevent them from overcooking. Check the cookies frequently towards the end of the cooking time.

Conclusion:

Air frying is a great way to make delicious and crispy cookies without all the added fat and calories. With a little practice, you can master the art of air frying cookies and enjoy your favorite treats without guilt. So next time you're craving a cookie, reach for your air fryer instead of your oven.
