Tips:

  • Choose the right potatoes: Russet potatoes are the best choice for hash browns, as they have a high starch content that helps them crisp up nicely.
  • Grate the potatoes evenly: Use a box grater with large holes to grate the potatoes. This will help ensure that they cook evenly.
  • Season the potatoes well: Be generous with the salt and pepper, and add any other seasonings you like, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika.
  • Cook the potatoes until they are golden brown: This will take about 10 minutes in an air fryer. Be sure to shake the basket halfway through cooking so that the potatoes cook evenly.
  • Add the eggs and cheese: Once the potatoes are cooked, add the eggs and cheese to the air fryer basket. Stir to combine.
  • Cook until the eggs are set: This will take about 5 minutes. Be sure to check the eggs frequently so that they don't overcook.
  • Serve immediately: Hash brown egg bites are best served hot out of the air fryer. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup, salsa, or sriracha.

Conclusion:

Hash brown egg bites are a quick and easy breakfast or brunch recipe that can be made in an air fryer. They are a great way to use up leftover potatoes, and they are also a healthy and satisfying meal. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can enjoy a delicious and nutritious breakfast that will keep you full all morning long.
