OLIVE-BRINED AIR-FRYER TURKEY BREAST

Olive-Brined Air-Fryer Turkey Breast image

An easy recipe for making a savory, juicy turkey breast in an air fryer. Using olive brine gives the breast flavor and also keeps it tender. I use spicy Tabasco® Olive brine for extra kick. Serve with cranberry sauce.

¾ cup brine from a can of olives
½ cup buttermilk

  • Take the bag out of the fridge and allow to rest until the breast reaches room temperature.
  • Preheat an air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Cook the breast in the air fryer for 15 minutes. Flip over the breast and cook for 5 minutes until turkey breast is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear. If internal temperature is lower, keep cooking at 5 minute intervals until the correct temperature is reached.

Tips:

  • Use a fresh or thawed turkey breast that is between 3 and 4 pounds. A larger turkey breast may not cook evenly in the air fryer.
  • Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels before cooking. This will help the skin crisp up.
  • Season the turkey breast generously with salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings. You can also use a pre-made poultry seasoning blend.
  • Place the turkey breast in the air fryer basket and cook at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. Then, flip the turkey breast and cook for an additional 20 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breast reads 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the turkey breast rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the meat.

Conclusion:

Air fryer turkey breast is a delicious and easy way to cook a healthy and flavorful meal. With just a few simple ingredients and steps, you can have a perfectly cooked turkey breast that is sure to impress your family and friends. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal, give air fryer turkey breast a try.
