Tips:
- Use high-quality sausage: The sausage is the star of this soup, so it's important to use a good one. Look for a sausage that is made with fresh, flavorful meat and has a good balance of spices.
- Don't overcrowd the pot: When you add the sausage to the pot, don't overcrowd it. This will prevent the sausage from browning properly and will make the soup greasy.
- Simmer the soup for at least 30 minutes: This will allow the flavors of the sausage, kale, and other ingredients to meld together and create a rich, flavorful soup.
- Season the soup to taste: Once the soup is done simmering, taste it and adjust the seasonings as needed. You may want to add more salt, pepper, or garlic powder.
- Serve the soup with a variety of toppings: This soup is delicious served with a variety of toppings, such as grated Parmesan cheese, croutons, or a dollop of sour cream.
